Split Tone, Black & White in Camera Raw

1.Split Tone English Castle

I love everything I have learned in Camera Raw. For this photo, I started by converting it to greyscale. In split toning, I changed the saturation and hue for the shadows, then the same for highlights. I adjusted the balance for a little more of the yellow tint. Lastly, I changed the Tone Curve to strong contrast to make the details of the castle pop.

2.Black & White English Tunnel

For this image, I started in Camera Raw with converting it to greyscale. In the Basic panel I dragged the exposure to the left, and dragged the contrast up quite a bit. The white slider was dragged to the right, and the black was dragged to the left. I then dragged the shadows slider to the right just a bit. Lastly, I adjusted the tone curve to medium contrast.
